Ayam Taliwang the special taste of Lombok




Ayam Taliwang is a typical food of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara are made from chicken meat. The chicken meat baked with herbs dried red chili, onion, garlic, tomatoes, fried shrimp,kencur, brown sugar, and salt. The food is usually served with other typical food Lombok, for example plecing kangkung. Ayam taliwang actually almost similar with others barbecued chicken. just different on the spices use and its taste also. Ayam taliwang has a distinctive flavor that makes loved by fans of Indonesian cuisine. Combined with the spicy flavors and seasoning savory grilled chicken typical of Taliwang gives its own taste sensation compared with grilled chicken recipe Kalasan, Sundanese grilled chicken, chicken salad or others. Taliwang grilled chicken recipe first appeared and was known by most of us. But actually, the chicken dishes using spices taliwang grilled chicken is very famous and popular in his native region namely Taliwang in Mataram of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).  Many people mentioned that this taliwang recipe comes from Lombok.  This is because of many tourists who tasted the first time this taliwang grilled chicken in the area. If you want to look any further, taliwang chicken recipe was first presented as a main course during the process of reconciliation between the kingdom and the kingdom Bali Selaparang
Ingredients of Ayam Taliwang:
-1 whole chicken (clean)
-water 200 milliliter 
-1 tablespoon cooking oil
-2 tablespoons of lime juice
-1/2 teaspoon of salt
Seasoning Fine of Taliwang: 
-Shallots 7 items
-4 cloves garlic
-Red chili 4 pieces
-1 piece of tomato
-1 knuckles of kencur
-1 tsp of Fried shrimp paste
-1 teaspoon of brown sugar -Salt

taliwang chicken was very tasty with the best seasoning
although it has the same look with more grilled chicken but tastes very different.spicy and chrunchy taste makes it special in the tongue.
